Terms & Conditions of Bungalows of the Desert 

Vintage Camping Trailer Rental 

Bungalows of the Desert vintage camping trailer rentals amenities included are coffee / french press, propane single burner, propane heater, linen, fire pit with limited firewood, umbrella, outdoor seating for two & travel toilet with hand washing station. 

Bungalows of The Desert vintage camping trailers do not leave the provided campsite. Camping trailers and campsites do not provide showers, running water, electrical hook-ups or functional kitchen areas. 

You are responsible for bringing any additional supplies needed for dry camping, off the grid accommodations.  

Location 

Bungalows of The Desert provides a vintage camping trailer rental with a set campsite open to the public. Located near the town of Borrego Springs in Anza Borrego State Park. Time of booking you will receive a welcome letter with additional information. We want to ensure accommodation(s) are private and safe. We expect all guests to be respectful of location and neighboring camping sites. You are responsible for following state park rules when entering into State Park property http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=638 . 

Check-In & Check-Out 

Check-In is at 3:00pm. You will receive a self-check-in guide the day prior to check-in day with all the information for a seamless arrival. We recommend arrival prior to sunset to familiarize yourself with camping location(s). If you anticipate checking in after 8:00pm, please notify us prior to arrival if additional assistance will be needed.  

Check-Out is at 11:00am. If you would like to request a late check-out, please call us directly at (760) 315 – 0205 on the day of departure and we will make every effort to accommodate the request. Charges may apply. 

Late check-out upon request only, if approved. Every 1 hour occupying the vintage camping trailer after 11:00am you will be charged a fee of $50. Additional charges only apply if late check-out is not approved. 

Deposit & Cancellation

A refundable advance deposit equal to the amount of your total stay and tax will be charged on the day of booking. 

It is required to change or cancel vintage camping trailer reservation(s) 5-days prior to arrival to avoid a 50% penalty of total stay amount. Cancellation(s) 5 days or more in advance of check-in date will be refunded 100% of total reservation amount. 

You agree at time of booking to be refunded 100% of total booking reservation for cancellations 5 days or more in advance of your check-in date. You agree to be refunded 50% of total booking reservation for cancellations less than 5 days in advance of your check-in date. 

Keys 

You will receive instructions the day prior to check-in date on the location of keys. You are liable to pay a fee of $50 for lost keys not returned on the check-out date. Upon check-out please leave keys in designated lock box for vintage camping trailer. 

Smoking Friendly But Not In The Vintage Camping Trailer 

Vintage camping trailers are non-smoking. Smoking in the trailers will result in an extra fee of $200 per trailer smoked in. 

Pack It In & Pack It Out 

Inconsiderate and unusually large messes will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500. 

Cooking in Vintage Camping Trailer 

Cooking in vintage camping trailer(s) is prohibited for safety reasons. Trailers do NOT provide a functional kitchen area. Trailers are equipped with a single burner propane stove, coffee press & tea pot. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, creamer & sugar will be provided. 

Safety 

Trailers are equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers for your safety. In case of an emergency please call 911. 

Vintage Camping Trailers Not Pet Friendly 

Pets are not allowed in vintage camping trailer(s), pets (dog, cat & etc.) in trailers will result in an extra fee of $200 per trailer. 

Damage & Theft 

You are liable for any damage caused (whether by deliberant, negligence, or reckless act to the rental) by the main reservation holder or any person in party whether or not registered to the trailer rental during your stay. Bungalows of the Desert have a right to charge credit card/ debit card/ cash in such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Bungalows of the Desert. We reserve the right to contact you hereby authorize Bungalows of the Desert to to charge payment for any damages incurred to your trailer during your stay, included and not limited to all trailer damage, missing or damaged items. Damage to vintage camping trailer(s) of Bungalows of The Desert, fixtures, furnishings and equipment provided, linen & etc. Damage to linen such as unremovable stains will be charged 150% percent of full and new replacement value plus shipping and handling charges. Any cost associated with repair and/or replacement will be charged to the registered guest. In extreme cases criminal charges will be pursued.
