Camping with style ! Frida is a vintage 1956 can ham Honor camping travel trailer. Frida was brought back to life with the inspiration of Frida Kahlo Casa Azul. Incorporates most of its original charm of varnished birch wood interiors with pops of color. It offers a cozy full-size bed and seating for two, perfect for an intimate escape.
Bungalows of The Desert features a unique vintage trailer rental experience, conveniently located near downtown Borrego Springs. Our communal area includes a lounge, coffee station, fire pit, and bathroom facilities.
You’ll be just a short walk or bike ride from the charming town of Borrego Springs, where you can explore seasonal shops and dining options. Enjoy stargazing and a distinctive vintage trailer experience under the night sky.
Amenities include beach cruisers, coffee, a propane heater, linens, and access to the communal fire pit and outdoor seating. Please note that our vintage trailers remain on-site and do not offer showers or a fully functional kitchen. They also do not have direct electrical connections; instead, they use battery-operated lights. The communal lounge is available 24/7, features a charging station, Wi-Fi, TV (with limited streaming options), restroom access (without shower), fridge, and microwave.
This adults-only location is not ideal for those with sensitive hearing or who are uncomfortable with shared spaces. It is situated near a main road.
Guests are expected to adhere to shared space rules.
